Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing talent acquisition, presenting an effective option to ineffective, biased recruitment systems. AI improves sourcing, screening, and candidate interaction, with advantages such as enhanced efficiency and potential bias elimination. Yet major challenges remain, including threats of algorithmic discrimination, data privacy concerns, and dehumanizing the hiring process. The most effective solution is human-focused, utilizing AI to enhance, not eliminate, human recruiters in a "human-in-the-loop" model. This calls for openness and ongoing auditing to take advantage of AI's opportunities and mitigate its threats
